Drew Desky & Dane Levens and Michael Mills are the founders of DDM Productions. The focus of DDM is to collaborate with writers, composers, actors, directors, and creative teams to support and develop new theatrical works. The team has co-produced or supported Broadway and Off-Broadway shows, regional productions, readings and television series. They are involved as lead producers, executive producers and consultants on a number of upcoming Broadway and touring productions.
Drew and Dane are award-winning and -nominated producers for theatre and web series. They have produced Pageant (Drama Desk nomination), Application Pending (Drama Desk nomination), Who’s Holiday! (Lortel nomination), Unexpected Joy, Bright Colors and Bold Patterns, and R.R.R.E.D. They are currently supporting Hadestown, Dear Evan Hansen (including the North American Tour and West End), Come from Away (Australia/NZ tour), and Be More Chill. They have produced developmental presentations of musicals and are supporting the current production of Passing Through at Goodspeed Musicals. They earned the Emmy® Award for Best Digital Drama Series as Executive Producers of After Forever in 2018. Drew is the Founding Co-Chair of the Leadership Council of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Drew and Dane are also members of the Artists Circle of the Bucks County Playhouse.
Michael is a theatre producer, investor, director and administrator. Off-Broadway, he co-produced the New York premiere production of Unexpected Joy at the York Theatre and The Other Josh Cohen at the Westside Theatre. He was a co-producer of Unexpected Joy in London and the world premiere of Kleptocracy at Arena Stage in Washington, DC. He is currently supporting Be More Chill on Broadway and the production of Passing Through at Goodspeed Musicals' Terris Theatre. Michael has served on the boards of regional and community theaters and currently has three productions optioned and in development.
Clay is Associate Producer, host, actor, writer and optimist. Most recently, Clay was seen in the Broadway National Tour of Waitress as Earl Hunterson. Curiosity and a passion for thoughtful storytelling led him to create, edit and host Entertainmentx where he gets to the heart, soul and drive of top performers in the entertainment industry. Previous guests include Grammy winner Jonathan Groff; Tony Award winners Billy Porter and Jerry Mitchell; plus Hollywood and Broadway stars and choreographers like Bradley James, Jonah Platt, Diana DeGarmo, and Morgan James, as well as emerging talent from film, TV, Broadway and publishing. Clay believes in genuine human connection and the power of kindness. Consequently, he loves to meet and connect like-minded humans. Clay is an alum of SUNY Fredonia with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre. He is enthusiastic about collaborating with DDM Productions.
Sarah Nowak, Chief Administrator, has enjoyed an eclectic career as a comedian and admin throughout NYC. She is proud member of The Baldwins, the longest running improv team in the city and currently teaches improv and character work at The People’s Improv Theater. She spent one season at sea as a cast member of The Second City Review on the Norwegian Epic and was honored as one of the Fresh Faces of Comedy at the Just for Laughs Festival in Montréal. In her downtime, she has supported her vices in a variety of administrative roles in architecture, finance, TV Production and education. She is so grateful to finally work in the arts as her day job, too. She loves horror movies, fancy cocktails and The Mets.
